Dear friends, 

Hope you are doing well. 

This is to let you know that we are starting the catechism classes for this year from Sunday, 12th February. 

The new admissions may kindly complete the attached Student Registration form and Parent Consent form and bring them with your kid on the registration day. For those who were attending catechism in the previous years, kindly verify the details at the registration counter when you come for registration. You don't need to bring registration forms. 

The catechism registration fee will be as below:

1st & 2nd child - $75

3rd child - $50

4th child onwards - free

Catechism Registrations:

We have five catechism centres in the parish. You may join the centre assigned to your family unit as below. If anyone needs to change the centre, kindly get permission before registration. Please note that you can join the Orange Grove centre without any prior permissions. 
 

Orange Grove Centre morning & afternoon (St. Joseph Syro-Malabar Church, 347 Kelvin Rd, Orange Grove)

Students from Armadale, Atwell, Cannington, Canningvale South, Canningvale North, East-Cannington, Maddington, Harrisdale, Piarawaters, Redcliffe, Success, Wattlegrove, Wilson family units

-You are free to choose morning or afternoon group.

Joondalup Centre (Holy Spirit Chapel, 85 Boas Avenue, Joondalup)

Students from Joondalup family unit

Willetton Centre (Oberthur Primary School, 21 Nicholls Cres, Bull Creek)

Students from Willetton North, Willetton South, Willetton East, Riverton and Bullcreek family units

Embleton Centre (Holy Trinity Church, 8 Burnett St, Embleton)

Students from Nollamara, Westminster, Midland, Wembley and Morley family units

Please note the following:

- Please find the Student Registration & Parent consent form attached. The new admissions may complete it, sign it and bring on the day of registration. 

- Parish Registration is mandatory for Syro-Malabar families for attending the catechism classes. So, kindly complete the attached parish registration form if you haven't done yet. 

- Please bring $75 as catechism registration fee ($50 for 3rd and free for 4th kid onwards) and collect the folder with text book from the registration counters in your respective centres. 

- Orange Grove morning and afternoon groups will have catechism every Sunday. 

- Joondalup & Willetton centres have classes on first & third Sundays. 

- Embleton centre has classes on second & fourth Sundays. 

- The class schedule-Year Plan 2023 is attached herewith. 

- Since attending Holy Qurbana every Sunday is the central part of faith formation, please take utmost care to bring your child for Syro-Malabar Holy Qurbana every Sunday.
